Roundtable on the development of ecotourism in the Natural Park Belasica

Ecotourism can speak in the Natural Park Belasitsa - Petrich, which is only one year. That said Latinka Topalova by the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation held a roundtable in Petrich on this topic, sent correspondent of Radio Focus - Pirin. In her words, first steps have already been made, there is a project of two and a half years as one of its main objectives is to initiate the development of ecotourism in mountain Belasitsa. She believes that people in the region already have understood what is the benefit of the presence of the Nature Park. Fact already the first thematic paths, which represent the mountains in a different way. There are four paths, two near to the chalets and two villages. There are trained guides who have the benefit of tourists. The purity of nature and its conservation needs education to children from an early age and re-education of adults believe Latinka Topalov. It is pleasantly surprised by the fact that one year ago raised information boards in Belasitza not destroyed, unlike the Vitosha Nature Park, whose existence is sometimes only one day.
